Job description
Derek Lewis Ltd is actively seeking a skilled and experienced road surfacing gang. We are looking for professionals with both machine and hand-lay experience to join our dynamic team. The gang will be primarily working in the Yorkshire area, with occasional projects requiring travel.
Roles within the Gang:
- Rake Hands
- Paver/Roller Drivers
- Screwman
Responsibilities:
- Execute road surfacing projects including highways, car parks, and footpaths.
- Operate machinery and perform hand-lay techniques as required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on all projects.
- Adapt to both local and away work requirements as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in road surfacing.
- Competency in using road surfacing machinery and tools.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for occasional projects outside Yorkshire.
