A major link road to Rossington, the B6463 Sheep Bridge Lane has had a demanding time over the years due to an extremely high traffic flow, as it was the main arterial carriage way joining Rossington village to the Great North Road. Starting in late January, at the very heart of winter, this project involved 8 days of surfacing work, consisting of planing out and the laying of:


• 797m2 – 20mm Binder Course laid to a depth of 70mm – 130t laid

• 10,587m2 – 10mm SMA Surface Course laid to a depth of 40mm – 1,170t laid

• 942m2 – 10mm SMA Surface Course laid to a depth of 50mm – 130t laid
