This Road Surfacing project can be located in Sandal Stones Road, Kirk Sandall, DN3 1QR was for the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.

This project involved the plane out of the existing single carriageway 100mm + deep along with a lay binder course and asphalt reinforcement glass grid and finally the laying of the SMA surface course.

As this was a heavily used road in typical rush hour times, traffic management had to be well structured and thought out taking the public into consideration with all works taking place on nights under a road closure.

All existing iron work was either replaced or lifted to new levels.
